speeding ticket?
i just got a speeding ticket in a 25mph zone. the cop said i was going 41mph but i know i wasnt. when he gave me the ticket i saw that he did not specify on the ticket that he used any equipment to clock my speed. can i get out of the ticket because of this? by the way i live in NJ and this is the first time i got pulled over
How much will my insurance go up from my speeding ticket?
I'm 21 and I just received my first speeding ticket ever on I-80 (going 70 in a 50mph zone). My parents don't know I went to NJ so I'm really worried about them finding out what happened. I'm currently under my parents' policy (Erie Insurance). Is there any way my parents can find out where I got the ticket if I just pay the fine? I'm thinking of just pleading guilty to just get it behind me. If anyone has any other suggestions in what I should do it's greatly appreciated.

I was looking for any traffic schools in PA and apparently PA doesn't allow you to take a safe driving class (state-approved ones) to take points off your license. I really don't want a court hearing cuz that means I'll have to drive an hour away & there's no way my parents will let me out (I have extra-strict parents).
I also found out that I might be able to take a traffic course if the court says I can... but again, I'm really hesitant about going to court.

the cop mentioned it to me - coming from NJ i couldn't be more thrilled. Even with a fine. I just want to make sure i should NOT go to court to get points removed. (It's how it goez down in Jerzey)
Have you ever been succesful in going to court and having a speeding ticket reduced?
Tonight I was pulled over clocked at going 48 in a 25 and was slapped with a 0 fine and what will be four points on my licensce. I probably was going that fast but I don't know for sure. I'm not required to go to court and this was my first offense. I live in NJ. Has anybody had luck with going to court and getting the fine reduced and fewer points. If I can get the officer to bring it down to only going 19 over the limit I still get the four points but the fine will be dropped by . Do you think it's worth the hassle?

Hi,i got as speeding ticket in NJ in a school zone at 5:30 PM for going 48 at a 25 mph zone. The weather was clear and dry, and i was going down hill under a bridge. Well I was very nice to the officer and I did everything he said. The officer later came back with a ticket and told me to plead not guilty. (told me he couldn't let me go because 20 miles over is the average limit when he could let someone go). Now he told me since i was cooperative he would lie saying his radar gun was messed up and told me to just plead not guilty.
He did not put the mile per hour on the ticket just the speed i was going.
Now what should i say in court when i plead not guilty??
and Should i believe this officer??? he seemed very nice to me.
Is there also anything i should do in court?? its my first time should any advice would be good.
Last question lol: Is there anything i could do so i don't get any points??? I'm willing to pay the extra fine

speeding ticket in NJ?
I got one today for 62 in a 50. i already have points on my license for a previous ticket that i just pleaded guilty to since i am a college student and dont have any extra money to get a lawyer .
i really can't afford more points so any tips or ideas on how to get rid of this ticket and the points that i would get from it?
my one friend suggested overpaying the ticket and then not cashing the returned money, any idea if it works?
and dont give me speeches about how i shouldnt speed because i know i shouldnt and what it can cause so just answer the questions
when would i talk to the prosecutor, on the court date that is on the ticket or someday before that court date?
and would i need a lawyer if I go on the court date to try to get it lowered or would i be able to go on my own?
NJ Speeding Ticket?
I live in New Jersey and am 17 years old. I received a speeding ticket a few weeks ago for going 93 in a 55. I know that what I have done in wrong and want to know if there would be any ways to reduce my points. What will happen when I go to court in a month? I am really scared and extremely sorry for what I have done. I have never done this before and will never be it again. I am also a very good kid in school. Please help me out by telling me what to do about this ticket and reducing points.
Speeding Ticket Question?
I live in MD got a speeding ticket in NJ - state trooper (90 in a 65- he paced me I think I was doing 85) - The ticket has no fine amount, the website has no account of the ticket (although they say give it 4 days), but the court date on the ticket is about 2 days after the fine is suppose to post to website.
my question is has anyone ever dealt with this, and I'm interested in knowing if anyone has had speeding points earned in another show up in their home state

I got a speeding ticket in NJ but my information says PA. Under the state, it looks like the officer put PS. I compared what his other letter N's looked like and it doesn't look the same at all because the top half of what is supposed to be an N is completely closed. I was on my streetbike and the cop that pulled me over said i tried to out run him when i pulled over (i mean i could of i was less then a min out of his duristiction and could of easily out ran him and got away with it) but no i stopped even with him saying i was trying to run. I know in NJ when it's your first ticket you pay like a fee of I believe 250$ so that you do not get any points on your lisence and they downgrade the ticket.
