in phoenix unpaid speeding ticket?
i got a ticket from the photo radar but didnt recieve the ticket but was searching a court case from another county and seen my name under scottsdale court and it was traffic and said failure to appear.I remember getting a picture taken by the photo radar and expected something in mail nut when i never got anything i figured i wasnt getting a aticket or maybe it was nother car that got cited by the photo radar because i was on freeway and there were othr cars but like i said there was a failure to appear with my name and birthdate and the date i was driving and got my picture taken BUT NEVER RECIEVED ANY TICKET! would i have a warrant? im going to call the court tommorow and find out whats going on.

OK - I rented a car in DC and I just got a speeding ticket in the mail from the DC photo enforcement office. It says I was going 6 miles over the speed limit. It has a picture of the rental car but how the heck does that prove I was speeding. I would like to contest this but I don't live anywhere near DC so the expense of going down there to fight it would be more than the ticket but it just doesn't seem fair. Any advice?
It would be unfair because how does a picture of a license plate prove that I was speeding. If it was a picture of me going through a red light and there was proof, I wouldn't argue.

does anyone know what would happen if you got a dui a year ago and have your driver license suspended for a year but then you get a speeding ticket on the freeway from a photo radar not an actual cop a year later and it was in someone elses car would that person with the suspended license go to jail or just have to pay fines the speed limit was 55 and the person was goin about 70 i think and this happened in arizona and the driver license was suspended a year ago and might be up to get back but not sure please if someone can help i would appreciate it

It was a photo radar ticket that has my picture and license plate. I took defensive driving school for the first time I sped, but I don't know if that is still an option for me. I live in Arizona and I think you can only take defensive driving school 1 time in 2 years. Anyhow I have to be in course between 8am- 4pm tomorrow 7/24/08 if I don't pay, but I plan on paying just in the morning that same day. Is that too late? I'm scared to death right now.

If so, how long did it take to arrive? I'm scared that I got busted speeding on the 51, the flashes were going off, but there were a ton of cars around me, and I tried to slow down. It's been 2 and a half weeks since that day. I'm wondering if I should stop worrying about it.

How can I beat a photo radar ticket?
Lately, photo radar tickets in my neighborhood are out of control. The thing that annoys me most about them is that they seem almost impossible to contest. If I went five miles over the limit in a specific area of a busy street, how would I know? Worse, they don't even post signs telling you if photo radar is in use.
I think that it's wrong, as well. I have serious doubts about the legitimacy of speed camera. Machines are broken all the time. Tell that to the driver/victim.

Got a red light photo ticket tonight in OC, CA. To make things worse, I was driving my mother in law's car. yikes!!! I haven't had a ticket for 2+ years. I know I can go to traffic school for speeding, what about for red light infraction? I really want this removed, because the last thing I want is to raise the insurance of my mother in laws car. The car is registered under her name.
Anyone know about this or any other pointers would be appreciated! I would prefer a traffic school near Burbank or OC. thanks!

I had a rough week, received two separate photo radar speeding tickets..What I'm wondering is if I take defensive driving school, will I be able to have the tickets dropped from my record? I'm not worried so much about points as I haven't gotten a ticket in several years, I just don't want my insurance rates to skyrocket for the next 10 years 
Arizona Photo Radar Ticket – Screwed?
So, Arizona decided to put up a new photo radar van on the 60 on Christmas Eve when I was driving to work, Lovely! 
Yes, Yes I know I've been naughty. Please refrain from the.. "Well, Don't speed!" comments. Anybody that is familiar with Arizona traffic laws would be helpful, since I have already looked up my issue and nothing has answered it fully.
I received 1 speeding ticket from a police officer and his cute little laser gun when I was 17..really not sure when it was EXACTLY but I am 18 now so it hasn't been 2 years. So I went to the 4 hour class in order to clear that ticket.
This past May, 7 months ago, I had received my 2nd speeding ticket on the 101 from the cameras. Since I had already gone to the 4 hour class, I had to pay the fine..and so I assume from that, I gained the points on the "Arizona Drivers Points". About a month after I had paid my fine I got a letter in the mail stating that I had to go to a mandatory 8 hour class because I had gotten 2 tickets when I was a minor.
Now, I am 18 and got my 3rd speeding ticket from a photo radar van on the 60. I am insanely worried that my license is going to be suspended.
After research, I found that speeding is counted as 3 points under the "Arizona-Eight-Points-Until-You're-Screwed". So, my question would be.. Did those 3 points get added onto my record on my first ticket when I was 17, even though I went to that 4 hour class? Or do those classes completely clear the fees AND points?
If that is the case, then I would have 3 points from the 2nd and another 3 points from this past (3rd) ticket. Which would add up to 6 points - which would mean I am in the clear.. But, If they still add on the points from my first ticket, that would make it 9 points. Which means I am OVER the 8 points and very much SCREWED.
For the record, all of these speeding tickets have been 12-17 MPH above. NEVER criminal speed.

In Arizona, would a minor get the normal 3 points added onto their record for their first ticket (speeding) even though they went to the 4 hour class in order to get out of any fees/insurance/court nonsense... or does the class clear the points also?

I have an upcoming court date for a bogus speeding ticket. The officer was traveling opposite of myself and turned around, pulled me over and gave me a ticket. On the ticket he left the actual speed blank but stated the posted limit was 35. Second, he put i was traveling west when i was actually going east, thirdly in the east bound lane (the way i was going) there is NO speed limit signs. Seeing as there is no posted limit and he left my actual speed blank, would my argument hold up in court. Also have photos of the entire street...would this help?
Should they pay the speeding ticket?
Okay, so my husband's brother brought us a car that his mom owned to AZ. He got a speeding ticket from photo radar. His mom signed something in the mail acknowledging that it wasn't her, but that it was her son. Now she got another letter asking to appear in court or pay a fine. Can she ignore it at this point or does she have to pay it since she signed documentation.
The reason I ask this is because in AZ, if you don't acknowledge the ticket, it goes away. Also, I believe if you weren't sent anything certified, hand delivered, or supeonaed, they can't hold you to it. They live in CA, but I'm not sure if they should pay it or not. The letter also threatens that they could suspend the license for a year if not paid. The ticket is 0.00. Problem is that my step-mom gave up too much info. What should they do now?
