my first speeding ticket, now what?

I'm 24 and have never gotten a speeding ticket before. I was driving my friend's car, with them in the car with me, and the officer said something about my insurance being contacted. What did he mean, and who's insurance will it be?

    The car owners insurance. But nothing will happen, it wont even get that far if you take care of it before it gets to that. Since its your first ticket, you can just pay it, they give you the option to do traffic school, usually its like $70 added to the amount of your ticket, and once its taken care of, nothing happens as far as insurance, or anything like that. If you decide to pay the extra and do traffic school, you wont get any points on your record and it will be like it never happened.
