I doubt seriously that the judge will take your driver’s license away, however, I would certainly prepare myself for paying a hefty fine for excessive speed. You may also have to go through a traffic school due to your age. Hopefully, this is your first ticket. If you have received other tickets in the past, you may be facing more a more stringent penalty(ies). Good luck!

No, if you have a license, your age generally doesn’t matter. You will either have to pay it or go to traffic school. Tough break though

Well you said a speeding ticket, It very well could have been a careless driving ticket. I’d set up a court date and ask the judge if he could reduce it to a excessive speeding ticket. This way it will not go to the DVM and not go on your driving record.

In NY State that would be a "junior license" and as such it would be subject to special rules. Conviction of a serious violation (three points or more) is a 60 day suspension of driving privileges!
Your ticket for 24 MPH over the limit would be a SIX point offense. So, if you live in the state of NY … YES you will lose your license!
50 states, 50 sets of vehicle and traffic laws! Maybe you will get lucky!
