How To Beat A Speeding Ticket Avoiding, Contesting and Beating Speeding Tickets

!?!?! i received a speeding ticket for doing 50mph in a 40 mph zone on federal land in NJ?

It's my first time getting a ticket, and the ticket for speeding is 6. Will my insurance rate go up since theres no points if i pay the ticket?

I also think the officer kept the insurance card i gave him what can i do about that?

    Just call your insurance company and get another card mailed to you.
    And I would make sure the ticket really has zero points. Just to be sure, but even without points your rates could go up since the ticket will be on your record.

    As far as your insurance card, I would simply obtain another copy from your insurance company.
    It’s a roll of the dice as far as your insurance company’s policy involving rates and speeding tickets. (I wouldn’t call and ask though :-)
