Should NJ governor Corzine get seat belt and speeding tickets after he gets out of the hospital?
I say yes, I'm sure he would never tell his troopers to back off giving a set of tickets to the little people. He was sure in a helluva hurry to get to that Imus confab and make some political hay. Idiot.

He wasn’t driving so he should not get a ticket for that.
I agree about trying to get in the news at Rutgers. He didn’t belong there, he was just trying to get in the spotlight. Well he got in the spotlight alright. (Watch what you wish for Guv’nor)

YUPPERS….
They would do it to a citizen…I have seen it done.
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
he wasn’t driving so you can’t give him a speeding ticket,
but he should get a ticket for not wearing his seat belt.
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
heck yes If that was me I’d be ticketed. What is so bad is he is govenor? He should know not to speed. 90 miles per hour geez
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
He should not get those tickets when he gets out of the hospital. He should get them right now. Why wait??
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
He should do a Public Service Message on seat belt safety nationally, while he is still in a wheelchair.
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
He is a billionaire and a Democrat, the rules don’t apply to him. Look up hubris in the dictionary.
The funny thing is, I’m picturing that when he gets out of the hospital, he will look like Gene Hackman in "Get Shorty" (after he was beaten by the bad guys). That will be funny.
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
You do realize that he wasn’t driving, don’t you?
You see, governors are big, big wheels and big, big wheels have drivers to take them to and from their very, very important appointments. So, no speeding tickee for Little Jonny this time. As for the seat belt ticket, who knows?
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
Yes, he should practice what he preaches and if he did not follow the law, he should be penalized and get a ticket for not wearing his seatbelt. He can’t get a speeding ticket because he was not the one driving. He is not above the law and that should be demonstrated. I disagree with you about the Imus conflab.
Rutgers is in NJ, and the governors mansion was a neutral place for the meeting. The people who made political hay out of it were the two race baiters- Al Sharpton and Jesse " New York is Hymie town" Jackson
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
Don’t be absurd, tickets are for the little people, not for
important Democratic Royalty.
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
Absolutely without a doubt. Of course he’ll most likely just get a slap on the wrist and just get off with a warning. Politicians all think they are above the law.
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
No. I feel like he has paid the ultimate price for what he did. It’s kinda sad that he got so badly hurt because he didnt do a little thing like wearing his seatbelt. I think that he should work on a statewide initiative to enforce tougher laws for punishing people that don’t wear their seatbelt.
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
He was not driving, but the driver sure deserves one. The governor should get a ticket for no seat belt. What the hell was the all fired hurry? This was no state emergency, it sounds like an ego was out of control on this one and innocent people could have been killed.
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
He should be ticketed for not wearing a Seat Belt and his Driver (A State Trooper!!) Should be given a ticket for speeding and charged with reckless endangerment with a motor vehicle.
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
Come on.. he wasn’t driving! leave the man alone.. this is getting more silly everyday..
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
ridiculous!
the very idea that you will try to advance your pathetic, small minded a**holish agenda based on a tragic accident that has a man severely injured and in the hospital clearly demonstrates the real morals issue in america today.
the moral crisis in america is people like YOU who will take any tragic event and try to make your dark ages mentality analogy to sound clever and tough minded.
you are neither.
it’s high time that when people ask fool questions like this one, that EVERYONE tells them to stop being predatory MONSTERS and let the man heal…
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
Hell, he was only doing 91 in a 65 give him a break, he is the Governor.
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
Sho Nuff….but you can bet aunt sally’s hand made blanket that if he does….he will give himself a pardon….Oh well…just another liberal…we makes the laws….we don’t have to abide by them…..Sound familiar????
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
Hadn’t thought about it but, HELLS YEAH!! Well, he’d get a no seatbelt ticket as would his Trooper for allowing and the Trooper should get the speeding ticket. Either way, you know if it was any of us we’d be getting the tickets while in the hospital if not while we were still strapped to the back board getting loaded into the ambulance (true story)
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
Yes but in NewJersey the politicos are above the law, hence the Gov will not be getting a ticket.
October 15th, 2009 - 23:19
Yes, for seat belt violation.
No, for speeding as a highway patrolman was driving.
The patrolman had his emergency lights on & thus can not be ticketed. He can be punished by his bosses for reckless driving & speeding when there was no emergency.
