Speeding ticket in the state of Arizona, help?

So I went on a trip to Phoenix,AZ but I originally live in TX. I got a speeding ticket. The officer suggested I take a defensive driving course. Im stressing over this now. Any suggestions on how I can take care of this issue like ASAP!! It’s kind hard when you live in another state and trying to take care of a ticket…..PLEASE HELP!!

    U really only have two options…. Pay it or appeal it in court. And i understand how stupid that sounds seeing that u live in a different state but those are the only two options….

    Take the time and go to the driving course, it will erase the ticket from your record and you may get some good information from it that may make you a better driver. It’s a win win. Sometimes things happen for a reason.

    I am sure that you will be able to attend traffic school or a defensive driving class in your home state.

    When you get the notice from Arizona, read it thoroughly and see if it addresses out-of-state schools. If not, call the clerk’s number, which should be on the notice, and explain the situation, it’s not new to them.

    Once the class is completed the ticket does not appear on your record, saving you money and embarrassment. Getting stressed out isn’t necessary.
