How To Beat A Speeding Ticket Avoiding, Contesting and Beating Speeding Tickets

Will my insurance be affected if I got a speeding ticket out of state with no points on the ticket?

I live in Georgia but I got the ticket in South Carolina.

  1. Insurance companies routinely run your drivers record every year before renewal. They will only run it in the state you live in…. So, No… it wont show up and they will not find out unless you tell them.

Now, if they were to make you sign a form that asks about any violations or accidents over the past three years and you lie… if found out your policy would be canceled and you could be criminally charged with insurance fraud.

  2. depends on what insurance company your with. My insurance only goes up if im caught going 20mph or more over the speed limit….anything under that and nothing changes. I have Erie Insurance.
