Which speeding ticket is easier to beat???????
I just want to find out which speeding ticket is easier to beat:
one that the cap estimated the speed
one where the cop actually used a radar
or one where the cop paced you?
by the way i am still trying to clarify what the main difference between pacing and estimating>>>>>>

No speeding ticket is easy to beat, because there is no physical evidence you can introduce to prove you were not speeding. However, estimating allows the most room for argument.
Pacing is when you position yourself behind the suspect car, and observe the distance between your cars. Because it is nearly impossible to keep the distance the same, you allow the distance to increase slightly. This means the suspect car is traveling slightly faster than you, so you can issue a citation based on your certified speedometer.
Estimating is when the officer uses his training and experience to make an educated guess at your speed. Unless your speed is obviously faster than allowed, it is open for argument. However, if he clocks a car going the speed limit, and observes you pass it, that could be strong evidence, even though you were not actually clocked.
