got ticket for going 1mph over the speed limit?
I got a ticket for going 1mph over the speed limit and got charged . It was a passing lane, No cars where coming. This car infront of me was going 15mph under the speed limit. I slowed down to 25 after i got infront of him. Is that considered illegal?

So you are admitting that you broke the law, i.e. you EXCEEDED the speed LIMIT. And yes that is illegal.

The speed limit is posted. And you were over it. Most cops five you a 5 mph leeway for differences in your speedometer and adjustments in the radar gun. But you ran into one that was not so forgiving. Makes me think there is more to the story. Anyway, over is over.

Uh yeah, the speed limit is THE SPEED LIMIT. Which means, you don’t go over THE LIMIT even by 1.

Wow. That is dumb. I guess it still is illegal. I reccomend just paying the price.
