Around how much would my speeding ticket cost?
I was going 38 in 25. It was a school zone with the lights flashing. I'm a minor with no previous record of any kind. It happened in Gwinnett county Georgia in either the city of Snellville or Lawrenceville. I need as much detail as u can give. Please help!!!
There was no set amount anywhere on the ticket. The irony in all this is that the cop who pulled me over is my friend's uncle, the same friend i normally give a ride to school, but he wasnt there that time. He told me that if i had told him earlier he could've called his uncle to cancel the ticket.

Good luck. Its going to be over $200 counting traffic school. I had a similar ticket, but was only going 8 mph over, and it was $240 for everything.

Yeah, it’ll be a doozy. My suggestion is to hire a traffic lawyer to argue it down to a non-moving violation. You’ll pay the lawyer ($50 – $100 depending on who you can find) and court costs (varies from court to court, but usually around $120 here in STL). it may be higher than your speeding ticket, but it looks a lot better to have a "parking ticket" instead of "13 mph over the limit in a school zone" on your record.
