   Plan on a moving violation to cost $100-150. Plus another $30 for driver school online if he wants to avoid the points that will make his insurance go up. It sucks that police will put you through almost $200 and four hours of time just because you were driving safely along the way but got stopped because you were going 30mph. I got a ticket going 42 in a 30 zone (driving safely, keeping with traffic) which was a double laned road where other cars were passing me before I got stopped. Cops treat their job like it’s a business sometimes, but I think they’re told to.

   ticket normally specifies the amount. Ask him to read it. It may range about $125. It is county / area specific.

   doing 30 in a 25 ????????? what did she do to pee off the cop? sounds like your friend needs an attitude adjustment moreso than a driving class…….

   Tell him to read the ticket.BTW, who gets a speeding ticket for going 5mph over speed limit. I see people all the time go over the speed limit an no cop says anything. Matter fact the speed of traffic is usually always 5-10 miles over the speed limit. Or is that just LA
