i recently got a speeding ticket for driving 84 mph on a freeway. about how much (in CA) will my ticket cost?

    It will tell you how much you are going to pay on the bottom of the ticket.

    The scheduled fine for going 16-25 mph over the limit is $266. Your fine will be within a few dollars of that.

    Going to traffic school does not lower the fine. You have to pay the amount of the fine AND a traffic school fee (as well as pay the traffic school).

    However, it results in a dismissal and your insurance company does not see it, which prevents increases in insurance rates.
