How To Beat A Speeding Ticket Avoiding, Contesting and Beating Speeding Tickets

Car Insurance rates after speeding ticket.?

I've gotten a speeding a few months ago going 20 mph over, but I took went to traffic school so it wouldn't affect my insurance. Now a few weeks ago I got another ticket going 17 mph over. Will my insurance count this as two speeding tickets against my insurance now, or only the second one? Also, about how much should my insurance increase from this ticket? I am 18 years old, and this will be my first ticket that i got points on my license from.
It's not that I speed all the time... The first time I was only going like 10 over and the cop was in an undercover SUV and started tailgating me. I sped up and switched lanes and he did the same, and finally turned on his lights.

The second time I was the only one on the road, and I just pulled out so I sped up really fast and slowed back down. The cop just happened to be pulling onto the road for the 10 seconds I was speeding.

  1. When you were allowed to attend traffic school, as the judge explained you would have to complete the school, show the court you had, and would be on probation for a time, usually 6 months. If you didn’t get a ticket during that time, the charge would go to "not guilty" and would not be on your record. Since you didn’t learn from traffic school, and repeated the offense within a "few months", both the old ticket and the new one will now show up on your record and the point score from both will be added. No, it’s not the first ticket, it’s the second.

Now you will have higher rates for insurance for the next three years. Slow down.

  2. when they check your driving record they will realize that y ou cant be taught what the rules are and they will gong you–aint no easy way to say it

  3. Only the second ticket should show up on your record, at least its points–and what happens when the company sees it depends on the company and its underwriting policy. Insurers don’t usually check your record at every renewal since it costs them money to do it, but they may check a young driver more often.

I’ll say it anyway–two speeds within a few months? Slow down!
