What do you think my fine for my speeding ticket will be? and will my insurance go up?
I'm a 17 girl who got a speeding ticket for the first time for going 53 in a 40 mph zone at night on a pretty empty street. I live in california and I am planning on going to traffic school to erase the point from my record. Does anybody know how much my ticket will be and if my insurance will go up ( I am on my parents insurance). I heard that if you do traffic school your insurance won't go up, is this true?

You can compare how the insurance quotes would change, for example here – autoinsurance.maclenet.com

The ticket will be like 100-150 bucks maybe.. You werent going that fast.. At most it will be like 2 points on your license which wont really effect your insurance that much…

Well, I received a speeding ticket and it was 300$ plus the fee of traffic school. Now, you can take traffic school if you qualify, which means that you cannot have taken a traffic school within the last 18 months. If you take traffic school and pay the fine without contesting the ticket it will not go on your record and therefor your insurance company will not find out.
However if you contest it then you run the risk of being found guilty and then it will most definitely be a conviction it will go on your record and your insurance will go up.

You can go to the courts website to look up the citation fee or just call the courts and ask. If you take a traffic school the point will be removed in CA. Points on your license is what the insurance pulls up for increases or decreases. It won’t go up if the point is removed. Make sure you get the courts ok to take a class or the courts will not accept the driving school certificate

I think there is no way that you can deduct that record. If you have faced a traffic ticket then it is sure that insurance will go up. There is no other alternative that you can do.
I think here you can find more information about it
