Received a speeding ticket… now this. What to do?

Got a speeding ticket for 11 miles over (paid the fine), then I got the letter. I already called a local law firm but they won’t even talk to me for less than 0. Any suggestions? Think my auto insurance company will pay this? Thanks.

No you should let them take you to civil court for this. You will win, it is the most stupid thing I have ever heard.

Insurance companies do not pay fines. Just go to court and pay the fine. You can find a place that will fudge on a calibration for your speedometer and get out of it but you will have to know someone to do that. In the mean time just slow down a little.
Sorry, I did not read that letter correctly. My eyes just are not what they use to be.

That is extortion. They dug up your driving record, and made that up to get money from you. I would turn that letter in to the police.

They are the ones who will process your ticket and will know all the laws and regulation. You should also ask the courts if you are allowed to take a driving school class. This will prevent your insurance from going up and points from being placed on your license. Just make sure you get the courts permission before doing so. If you don’t the courts will reject your driving school certificate. Good luck!
