Depends on the state, but you will not be able to renew your license with outstanding tickets.

The ticket itself is there until it is paid, usually with the fine increasing over time.

There is a good chance you have an open warrant as well. If you were to be pulled over again, you could be arrested.

    Never..

Probably until a bench warrant is issued for your arrest.

It will go off you record after you are arrested and spend a few weeks in jail.

not paying a citation is contempt of court. by now you likely have a warrant for your arrest out of the county you received the citation. that warrant will remain in effect until you take care of it through the prosecuting attorney and clerk of court, are arrested on the warrant, or die

If you get pulled over, you could have a warrant for your arrest and be taken downtown. You’ll know about it at the wrong time. Any kind of ticket by the police doesn’t come off of your record. They won’t go out and purposely pick you up, they’ll wait to get you when there is an infraction. You’ll be charged for the ticket, warrant, all the late fees, court costs, court fees, etc. If I were you, I would have it taken care of before something happens.

The ticket will never go off your record until it is paid. THEN, once it has been paid, it is usually seven years. After seven years, it goes to your "history"

varies by each state usually 3-5 years
