California Speeding ticket-please help-17.5 years old?
i recieved a ticket for going 95 mph on a 65 mph freeway late at night. the code on the ticket is 22349 and the officer only put it as an infraction. i have a court date in November. what are the odds of my license getting suspended and could i ask for deferred adjudication?

I got a speeding ticket from CHP. I was given speeding at 85mph by the officer on a 65mph freeway. No way I can deny that since I was speeding.
It's been a two weeks since I got the ticket.It's given in the ticket that I need to appear in Santa clara South court (San Martin).
The CHP officer told that I will receive my options to pay the fine/going to the traffic school by mail.But I haven't got anything until now. I dont really know how much fine I'll be paying for.

I just got a speeding ticket on the freeway going 95 mph when the speed limit is 65. I'm a few months shy of 18 and they are sending me to court. I heard you can get your license taken away. Is this true? It's only first ticket but is it possible?

It was around noon on a Saturday when I was pulled over for speeding. The officer claimed that the radar locked me in at approx. 95mph and I was traveling through a 55 zone on the freeway. It didn't even seem like I was going that fast. From my observation the flow of traffic was at least 70. I understand that I was irresponsible and irrational, and it won't happen again. I just need advice on what I should do, I have a court date in about three weeks. My driving record is squeaky clean, no accidents, no traffic violations at all. Does anybody have any advice? Well, Unfortunately, I wasn't given the option of just paying a ticket. I understand that on paper this looks really bad. But put into the context of the time and place of the situation, I really wasn't going as fast as it looks. I honestly don't think I was going 95, but I know I was going faster than the flow of traffic. My car is old and decrepit, once it starts going fast it rumbles and shakes and I usually slow down.

75/70 speeding ticket in michigan.?
I got the speeding ticket today on my way back home on freeway. I tried to take over the police officer and I accilerated my car to 80 mph. He than pulled me over and gave me 75 mph (5 above the limit) ticket. He said the ticket adds no points on my record but I have to pay 120 $ fine. I basically have 2 question on this incident.
Question 1: He pulled me over when I was 100 mile away from my home in the same state. So the court I have to contact is 100 miles away from my home. I wish to go to court and fight the ticket. Can I go to my local court to fight the case and not go 100 miles?
Question 2: Should I even bother to go to court? Should I just pay the fine? I did tell him that I was going 75 mph when he pulled me over. Would he have video recording of that? And if I do go to court what should I say to get out of this safely?

How do you handle a photo ticket issued to your car, but you weren’t the driver?
I received three photo tickets that had photos of another driver. I lent my car to a relative over christmas break and do not recognize the driver in the pictures. The tickets were for speeding on a Phoenix freeway (going 11-12 MPH over). There is a portion of the ticket that you can complete that says it wasn't you, but they want you to identify the driver, their license number, address etc. I don't know who it was. Can I just return the forms and say "unknown driver?".

My husband was driving his FedEx delivery vehicle home recently and got pulled over for a speeding ticket. The speeding ticket is 67!!
Here are the officers "facts" (at least what the officer claimed):
-He was clocked going 85mph on a 65mph freeway.
-He was driving a commercial vehicle, which should only be going 55mph
-He was in the fast lane
-The officer gave him a speeding violation and classified his truck as a "trailer bus."
Here are my husbands facts:
-His speedometer only reads up to 75mph. He says he has tried going faster but the truck usually breaks on its own and begins slowing down automatically. So, he may have been speeding and we'll acknowledge that possibility, but is he responsible for not knowing how fast? In all his experiences, his truck prevents going faster than 75mph, and in California, you're rarely pulled over unless you're going over 80mph.
-His truck does not fall under ANY of the commercial vehicle requirements (3 or more axles, 10,001 lbs gross weight, etc), nor is he required to have a commercial license. If you're familiar with trucks, his is a P30.
Has anyone fought a speeding ticket and won?? We'll pay a normal speeding ticket, but we can't figure out how his truck classifies as a commercial vehicle under the guidelines we're given.

Just a note: my husband is perfectly fine admitting he was speeding. We're not contesting that issue at all. Its simply that a commercial speeding ticket is over a 00 more than a regular one, and we can't figure out how his vehicle is classified as commercial given the standards we were shown. No, it does not have a commercial plate. The chassis is the same that would be used for an 8-passenger van, only they threw a cargo box on top instead. My husband owns the truck, so its technically a personal vehicle with a contracted businesses logo on it.

A couple of hours ago, I was driving in the main street of my city. I was about to get in the freeway, but needed to fill my tank. The gas station was on my left and i was in the right lane out 4 lanes(2 each way). I had stopped in the traffic light and needed to switch lanes in order to get to the gas station, so i sped up as soon as the light turned green. I hadn't noticed there was a cop behind me. So, he stopped it thinking i was speeding for the fun of it. He was very arrogant and didn't give me a chance to explain. He gave me a ticket for driving at an unsafe speed of 45 on a 35 mph street. I am pretty sure i was driving at 35, but he mightve got confused bc of the way i accelerated to switch lanes and turn left. I have been driving for almost 6 yrs and this will be my first ticket. I want to appeal it so bad, but I don't know if I should.
If you know, do you know how much will be and do you know if i have a chance to win the appeal?

How do you fight a 1st time speeding ticket in NY state?
The officer claims my speed was 85mph (without showing me a radargun read-out), I know I was at 65mph, which I had just checked seconds earlier. I was the only car on the road at the time of the incident on a Saturday morning, while he was in the far lane of the other side on the freeway moving in the opposite direction.
